Case and point

.
Since not having a job, i've been alot more relaxed in the dressing department. Maybe a bit to much because I tend to throw on whatever is laying around and that's comfortable as evident here.

The almost finished master Bedroom

The master bedroom is almost complete. It's nothing fancy but I am content. The biggest splurge in this room was the ikea closets. Since we gutted out the old puny closet to expand the room another few feet, we decided to forgo the built-in closet and go with these instead. Everything else in the room were either bought at a steep discount or from the old house.
There are a couple of things I'd like to add to complete the room. Such as a reading/sitting chair to go where the 2 foldings chairs(stolen from the dining room) are at right now. A nice graphic rug for the floor. And a huge standing mirror for the wall near the window.

Shoe Lust

I've been lusting over these shoes for so long and when I found them brand new at Last Chance for $99, I snatched these babies up so fast. I can't justify spending more than $100ish for shoes even if they're Louboutins. I am pretty rough on my shoes and a heavy walker so they wear out pretty fast.

I have to say I am in love with these shoese. I love the pointy toes and the feminine bow and cut outs, pretty much everything about them!

Harvest

It's so great to have fresh herbs readily available and Bella loves to harvest the fruits of our labor.
We made the most delicious pasta with farmers market tomatoes and basil, along with a touch of chilies. Those chilies really pack a punch!

Still a favorite

I've worn this outfit before almost 2 years ago with the same exact combination. Why fix something when it's not broken?

Painted Rug

This $5 entry little rug that I got on clearance at Target was supposed to be a temporary solution until we find a couch that will set the tone and color scheme for the living room. Since we haven't found a couch and it has been over 6 months, it's becoming more permanent.
With some leftover paint and a zigzag pattern, it doesn't look so boring anymore.

Racy lacy

What a difference a simple hair trim can do. I feel a little lighter and a bit more put together with just a simple hair cut!

Solo

What happened to summer? It seemed to go away without saying goodbye. One day it was 90 and the next 60. Oh AZ!
